About the practice

Florida & California licensed Acupuncture physician Dr. Kang is the 3rd generation of Oriental Medicine doctors in his family.

He was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Kang studied 6 years and received his doctorate degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in the well known Kyung-Hee University of Oriental Medicine in Korea in order to track father’s way.

Dr. Kang came to California 1986 and performed his treatment. His treatments are specialized in pain control, rehabilitation after stroke, obesity as a core study for the doctorate degree.

Also, He completed courses in Natural Nutrition, Tai-na manipulation, Motion Style Technique (MST) needle technique and Qi Gong. Dr. Kang combines the best aspects of all these modalities with Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine to achieve the best result for his patients in clinical practice.

This method of healing is versatile and highly effective as a complement to western medicine in helping patients feel relief of their symptoms and resolution of the conditions.

Dr. Kang has joined in medical missions in South America twice a year since 2000. He went to Mexico, Guatamala, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and more countries.

During the course of his professional career, Dr. Kang has treated over 100,000 patients in Korea, US, and South America with an extensive range of issues including stroke, musculoskeletal pain, arthritis, infertility, mental conditions, migraine headaches, and more.
